Last year, Ashley and I worked together for the very first time. It was a one hour session at Studio RK Salon in Fort Myers, where they graciously, let us set up the entire session on their pretty couch. To see last year’s session click here. We created content and a fast friendship as we share the same beliefs and values of running a business. Fast forward to this year, and Ashley has started planning where she would like to do her monthly sessions to create fresh content for Instagram.
First up? Artisan Eatery in Fort Myers, and boy it did not disappoint. Ashley found this quaint restaurant a few months ago, but this was my first time there. Being a natural light photographer, this could have been interesting. Sitting by the windows, I knew it was going to be the perfect session for a winter content shoot. The decor was so cozy and the lights looked like they were straight out of a Magnolia Home! The staff was wonderful to us and created a drool-worthy cinnamon bun for us to use (and eat!). Seriously, try it.
As always, Ashley came prepared with a few different sweaters, books, and props as she had already pre-planned the type of content she needed for this month. Let me tell ya’ll, this is the key for sessions like this! If you are wanting to create content for a website or social media posts, KNOW what you are going to be talking about. Set intention for the month and we can come together to create something pretty awesome!
